Forgotten Corps RP-FC

There is a side to the Forgotten that only those that have proven themselves know the full extent of. Though, those that have sharp eyes, and ears and see behind the curtain of this humble trading company.

As the Forgotten made forged their new path, they swore to stick to their methods and convictions. To protect this star, even if it meant unorthodox methods. Such path might paint them as villians in the eyes of some, and heros in others; but it was well worth the sacrifice.

They began with small missions at first. Finding connections in the Grand Companies, and making a solid reputation forthemselves. Taking on the cover of a trading company to hide a multitude of covert missions.

The Forgotten became the unscene force that like many Eorzians, kept the world spining. Picking up the slack so that peace could win the day. With the Cover of the trading company, they gained access to supplies, useful contacts, and even informants.

Becoming one of the Forgotten takes time and dedication. Those that provethemselves of value to the whole tend to grow and thrive amungst us. The forgotten live by a code, one that all have sworn to uphold.

General Questions & Answers

** Is this an RP only FC?**While our main focused is RP, We do host PVE events and encourage our members to do content and show respect for non-RP, or casual RP Players.

How active is this FC?Our Fc has casual activity at the moment due to recruitment and Theme updates. Like most Fc's, we have peaks of activity as well as down times. But, we are pretty laid back.
The heaviest RP takes place on the weekend with content on weekdays. The last week of the month is left open to allow our officers and DM's time to write more events and stories for the upcoming month. Plus a little break because Proper DMing can be stressful and needs time to be built.Especially since the events we create, are used to create RP bonds and create opportunities for character growth and development.

Do I have to have a dark or criminal background to join?Absolutely not! We do our very best to accommodate all who join, we take part in both light and dark themed RP Events. We do not partake in heavy gore. While we do have a lot of Action based RP, we do not create overly violent RP's. Though they can be a touch intense from time to time, that is not our primary theme.

What time Zone is this FC most active?We mostly run on EST Timezone. But we do have several friends overseas. So we tend to do activities from 6:30 pm - Midnight (sometimes later) EST; depending on the day and activity.

My character is from WoW (or some other game) will I be able to use them?We are pretty loose on lore, and allow Some bending of lore (so long as it makes some sense); we do want to keep to the Final Fantasy 14 universe. So, as long as the Character has been propeerly addapted to fit the World of FF14, we welcome you.Most of our members prefer lore friendly RP. We are by no means Lore Heavy/strict. In fact we encourage uniqueness and creativity. So long as it doesn't turn in to Godmoding, heavy lore breaking, or just so out there that it would make it unfair to others.We thank you kindly in advance for your understanding. ♥

Do I have to be on the same server to partake in FC activity?While we do Prefer our members be official members in game, if you are not in the server you are still welcome to join us for events. It is however, required that you join the Discord & LS so that you can be kept updated on activities.

Am I expected to be at every event? Or be active every day, all the time?In short, no. Our number #1 philosophy is that Real life comes first.
We do expect some reasonable activity, be it in RP or PVE. If you are to be inactive for more than 30 days we do ask that you simply let us know. If we don't hear from you within 45 days, we will reach out.

FC Roles and Definitions

Within our halls, you'll find the many souls that have answered the call of The Forgotten Corps. They seek to find a path that is of their own making. Something beyond the mortal vale. To break free of the fate that binds.Within our organization, there are few roles. Each one is as valued as the next. As you walk in the shadows with your brothers in arms, you will find each step, each note, forges a path of your own creation.

Those that join the Forgotten begin as Hopeful. As new members to the, they are watched over by their fellow forgotten and given the chance to walk with us. They are assigned to a team, to get a chance to interact with their fellow members in a more personal setting. Those that show promise and prove to be valuable assets to the Forgotten Corp. Are shown the true nature of the Forgotten. Where they sign their official contract and swear the oath.When a Hopeful Is Ranked up, they become part of the secret side of the organization gaining multiple benefits as official members.[OOC: These roles are designed as a way to easily connect with other players, help develop your character, and a general play style. By no means are you stuck in a particular Unit once you become a member. The more you interact with us and just show interest and willingness. The faster you can be ranked up to the Role Forgotten. which comes with several benefits both OOC and IC]

The Commander
Kohli Violet

The mysterious Viera, once the keeper of the relic archive, and Velicity's right hand in Eternal Darklight. A former traitor turned leader, Kohli has earned his place as the Leader of the Forgotten. He is a master of the occult and often the go-to source for all things dark and forbidden.Kohli once strayed down a dark path in the name of peace. Sacrificing the life of innocents, to one of the Darklight Relics known as Silverlin. During his trial, he was shown mercy and given a chance for redemption. One which he is slowly working towards daily. Saving the forgotten from an attacking force and earning his place back in the council. Though many still hold wounds of his betrayal.

Overseer
Y'Ohiro De'Forgotten

A skilled and powerful Dark Knight from Ishguard, Y'ohiro (Hiro) serves as the Forgottens head Guard and personal protector for Caden and Velicity.His talents in battle have earned him great loyalty and respect amongst the Forgotten. He's always willing to train those that wish to become stronger. Often spending his time on the lookout for any potential risks to the land. Often the first to arrive on the scene when trouble is brewing.

Kazuko Kazu

A silent messenger of death that appeared at the forgottens door one stormy night. Kazuko enters the Forgotten as a Lost child of the orient, and a wise adventurer. Her skills and mastery over the battle field have made her a valuable asset to the Forgotten over the years, earning her place as one of the leaders of the Forgotten.

C'loverisa Noyla

C'loverisa, once a seasoned Veteran of the Bozjan Resistance and a former Dragonsguard Commander, now lends her invaluable expertise to the Forgotten. A defector from the Empire, she brings a wealth of knowledge in both Allagan and Garlean magitek, which she skillfully uses to enhance the efficiency and innovation of daily operations within the group. Her abilities, however, are not confined to the workshop. C'loverisa’s deep understanding of technology and warfare makes her an invaluable asset, ensuring that she is never limited to one battlefield—be it mechanical or martial.

The First Leaders
Caden & Velicity Hunter

The ever-mysterious wild card Caden Hunter; and his wife the inspirational Muse, Velicity. Former Leaders and heads of The Forgotten Corps. The dynamic duo took the reins of leadership after one of original founders Orja Atole; assigned them as the heads of the Corps; and departed on her own journey. Together they forged the foundations of the Forgotten, building it from the ground up.Through hardship, struggle, passion, and dedication they formed the Forgotten family. Selecting their predecessors and future leaders according to the merit of their character and forgiveness.Caden always leading from the front of the pack showing no fear in what needs to be done. Sticking to his convictions, and holding his station with honor and pride.Velicity leading with warmth and kindness. Calling for unity, compassion, and a promise of change for a better tomorrow. Together with her husband the two brought balance between peace and war. Proudly leaving a legacy to the now leaders Kohli and Y'ohiro.

The Black Cat
Kyza Black

The ever unlucky Pirate Kyza Black. Kyza is mischievous but charming and always up for adventure. He dreams of becoming a captain one day, if he can get his own ship that is.
Often seen with his loyal companions, in particular Batanaga and Velicity. Kyza somehow manages to get himself out of one trouble and into another. Its almost as bad as his constant flirting. Which...also...gets him in trouble.But if your looking for an adventure on the high seas, a bit of mischief running around town; Kyza black might just be the one you're looking for.

The Traveler
Jace Nite

A mysterious Hyur that came to the palace as a hunter. He seeks answers that rest beyond the Vail of shadows. Along side his strange companion Eniac.Though he tends to keep to himself, Jace is one that will help anyone in need. Setting to make amends for a dark past that only he knows the secrets to. Despite his sometimes reclusive nature, Jace is Kind and displays a great love of music. Often found in The Palace halls playing a melody or two.

Guardian Muse

A promotion from the Prospect rank, they work directly under Rino and are responsible for the safety of the Palace. They follow the commands of the Wayward and carry out any orders without hesitation. They are dedicated mostly to combat missions and often find themselves at the fore front of battle along side their fellow Muse's. Though it is not beyond them to carryout simple house hold chores as well.

OOC: There is no true difference between Muse's & Guardian Muse's other than RP Flavoring. They have been with us for at least 3 months time and are some of our most active members. They partake in FC activities regularly and use the discord. They are go to members for activities, and sometimes even create events. (Note: it its not mandatory to do so)They help new members integrate into the FC and are often available to lend a hand in many ways.Characters that take this rank tend to play more Combat or dark roles. Such as taking out assassins that threaten the Palace, Fighting against enemy forces, fetching dangerous targets, or even escort missions.This does NOT mean that they are purely combat driven. Players that take on this role can still play servants and other more casual roles out side of combat. Such as a butter that is secretly an assassin.However, players with the Guardian Muse rank often take on contracts filled with heavy danger and combat. At the end of the day, you are more likely to find them patrolling the grounds or training, maybe even taking a break at the bar.

How can I promote to this Rank?This rank is given to our most active members. Those whom have been with us for several months, and are consistantly communicating and integrating into the community. This by no means continuous activity. Members can be promoted to this rank by showing up on specific days or frequently supporting other members.This is important to the Muse rank since they will often be sought out by new members for integration. They are the heart of the FC.

The Wretched Devil
Batanga Jr

While technically not a muse in name, this Lalafel will do almost anything for the right amount of Gil. To take her lightly is to forfeit your life. Shes a hardened warrior that isn't afraid to show you her skill with a blade. Unless....shes not suffering from her potion addiction.
She is Loyal to 2 people. Herself and Kyza Black. Not hesitating to let that small fact be known. But despite all that, there is good in her heart and will sometimes chose to do things for the greater good. If not use it to extort you later.If your looking for someone to fight along side you in the heat of battle, or navigate you through a dark and dangerous temple. Batanga might just be for hire.

The Weaver
Bohai Li

A proud ex-pirate turned 'kimono maker' hailing from the far East with a penchant for trouble and adventure. He joins the palace from a....intresting misshap. Where he tried to break into the place and steal food.Seeing his talent as a thief and as a kimono maker. A'katsu took him in. He know acts as a Guardian Muse to protect the palace from other sneekie individuals. Bringing charm elegance, and...a whole lot of trouble to the palace.

The Artificer
Cecilia Lavender

Lady Cecilia Lavender. One of the few nobles that holds a contract with the palace. Bratty spoiled and sometimes a bit of a villain. Cecilia is the cream.of the crop and she knows it.However; dispite her strength she still has struggles that have followed her along her path. She seeks to partner with the palace to gain power and a solid hold in the underground. As well as noble circles.

The Forsaken
Amond

A captain of the Guardians, Amond is a Miqo'te that was once trapped on an enchanted island that he isolated himself to. He caries that taint of the Void in his blood. An incident involving his parents and its corruption.
While Amond comes off as quiet and very blunt at times, often intimating others unintentionally.A miqo'te of honor and a devout follower of the goddess Nymeia,he protects the palace with all his might; but is always willing to help out. Be it training, laundry or simply chatting for a while.

The Songbird
Magna Flos

Not much is known about Magna. She tends to be seclusive and keeps to herself. She is often found patroling the Palace iwth Amond or taking on contracts that are connected to the underground. Rumor has it that she seeks the life of someone that has wronged her. But such a thing has never been confirmed.
While she is quick to turn down common house chores, she isn't beyond lending a helping hand or having a calm conversation. Though getting through to this hardened warrior wont be easy. There is light at the end of that cold stare.

This Fc is open to BOTH Rp and Non-Rp players! We welcome any and all members, though please be aware that we heavily based on Rp.These rules are placed within all contracts, and apply to all guests. Those who break these sacred rules, submit to their fate.

1. IC is not OOC
Please keep in mind that a person’s feelings or reactions are not defined by the character they play. For example, While A’katus plays a cold-hearted Villain; in reality, they are kind and very shy. It’s a character, a manifestation of imagination. So just because your characters have an argument or do not get along. It by no means represents how the PLAYER feels towards you OOC. Whether that be in RP or just doing daily's!2. Be respectful
Never forget that behind the avatar is a person. With real feelings and emotions. We ask that you show each other respect. If something happens OOC we ask that you please discuss in DMs. This server is not here for offline viewpoints such as politics, religion, gender, etc. This is a place to enjoy RP and content as a whole. That being said, arguments and more are going to happen. It's natural. But if you go out of your way to cause them, we will take action.3. This is not an ERP FC
While we are all adults and do have players that enjoy ERP, and can be lewd. Do not try and force such on any character unless they are willing. Be respectful to those that choose not to take part in such things. Do not let us see you OOCly attempting to persuade someone into a scene they are not comfortable with. If things start to get a bit steamy, please use the NSFW channels or DM's. Respect the folk around you. What you do outside of the FC is your business. What you do in your room is your business.
